Landscape Maintenance

Arbor Tree and Landscape, Inc. provides ongoing landscape maintenance and groundskeeping for residential, HOA and commercial properties in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County — scheduled visits covering beds, hedges, palms and general grounds upkeep rather than one-off calls.

Landscapes here don't stand still. Between the rain, the heat and the growing season that never really stops, the difference between a property that looks maintained and one that doesn't is whoever is showing up regularly.

What we look after

  • Hedges and privacy screens kept at the agreed height and width.
  • Shrubs and accent plantings pruned to shape rather than sheared into boxes.
  • Planting beds kept clean, edged and clear of encroaching growth.
  • Palms attended to on a sensible cycle, including dead fronds and seed pods.
  • Trees monitored, with trimming scheduled before problems develop.
  • Clearance kept off walkways, drives, signage, lighting and structures.

Scope is set per property. Some clients want everything handled; others want us for the trees, hedges and bed work only.

Why a schedule beats calling when it's bad

Most of the expensive work we're asked to do started as small work someone put off.

Cheaper over time

Regular trimming costs less than the hard reductions and removals that follow years of neglect.

Fewer storm problems

Trees kept in shape carry less end weight and less deadwood going into hurricane season.

Consistent appearance

Properties stay presentable year round rather than swinging between overgrown and freshly cut.

Commercial landscape maintenance

Arbor maintains grounds for commercial clients as well as private residences. On a commercial property the standard is usually consistency: hedge lines that stay level, beds that stay clean, and growth kept clear of entrances, drives, parking and signage all year rather than in bursts.

Scope and visit frequency are set per property after a site visit, and tree work is planned into the same schedule so the canopy and the grounds beneath it aren't handled by two different contractors. More detail is on the commercial tree service and landscaping page.

Residential maintenance

On homes and estates the priorities are usually different — privacy screens, specimen palms, planted beds and the trees closest to the house. The scope is agreed the same way, and the same crews do the work.

Maintenance questions

What does landscape maintenance include?

It's scoped per property. Typically it covers hedge and shrub trimming, bed upkeep, palm and tree attention on a cycle, and keeping growth clear of walkways, drives and structures. We agree the scope before starting so there are no surprises either way.

Do you maintain properties you didn't install?

Yes. Plenty of the properties we look after were planted by someone else, sometimes years ago.

Can tree work be included in a maintenance schedule?

Yes, and it's usually the better way to do it. Trees looked at on a cycle stay in shape, and problems get caught while they're still small jobs.

Do you work with HOAs and commercial properties?

Yes — condominium, HOA and commercial grounds as well as private residences.
