Tree Services

Tree care handled by people who do it every day

Trees in South Florida grow fast, take storm damage and sit close to roofs, pools and power service. Arbor handles the full range of tree work, and each service has its own page explaining how we approach it.

Residential & commercial tree service and landscaping

Arbor works with homeowners and commercial property clients alike, providing tree care and landscaping for residential and commercial properties throughout Palm Beach County. Either way, the property is looked at in person before anything is recommended.

Landscaping

Landscaping and landscape design for South Florida properties

Arbor plans each landscape around the property rather than a template, considering sun, soil, drainage, mature plant size and South Florida's tropical and storm conditions.

Owner Scott works directly with clients during the landscape process and helps select trees and plants for the property. Read more about Arbor's hands-on approach or explore landscape design.

FAQ

Common questions about tree work in Palm Beach County

How often should trees be trimmed in South Florida?

It depends on the species and the location of the tree. Fast-growing shade trees on a residential lot are usually looked at every one to two years, while palms and trees near a roof, driveway or power service often need attention more frequently. Hurricane season is the practical deadline most Palm Beach County property owners work backwards from.

What is the difference between tree trimming and tree pruning?

In everyday use the words overlap. We treat trimming as shaping and clearing growth for clearance, light and appearance, and pruning as targeted cuts made for the health and structure of the tree — removing dead, diseased, crossing or weakly attached limbs so the tree grows stronger.

Do you work on residential and commercial properties?

Yes. Arbor works on single-family homes, estates, condominium and HOA properties and commercial sites throughout the West Palm Beach area.

Can a mature tree be moved instead of removed?

Often it can. Relocating a healthy specimen tree depends on its species, size, root condition, access for equipment and the planting site. We look at the tree in person before recommending relocation over removal.
